She is currently working as Hindi Educator as well as Head of Department at the New Educational College, Mauritius. She is also a part time M.B.C radio presenter for the program ‘Gyan Sarovar’ by the Hindi Speaking Union. She did her B.A. (Hons) in Hindi from the University of Delhi, M.A. in Hindi from the Indira Gandhi National Open University, India and later on completed her Ph.D. in Hindi from the Open University of Mauritius in 2019. Besides this, Dr Varsha pursued also a Diploma in Yoga & alternate Therapies, Higher Diploma in Hinduism, and a Yoga Instructor Certificate course.

She is also editor of the manual for Hindi Literature 'A' level poetry paper for the past 10 years.
