Aims and Objectives

  1. To work for the unity of astrologers, palmists, numerologists, vastu specialists, practitioners of any occult science and to create a common platform for them.
  2. To unite other societies, registered or unregistered, national or international working for same cause on a single platform and to strengthen mutual relations.
  3. To promote education in the field of astrology, astronomy, astrophysics and allied subjects and set a level of competence nationally.
  4. To run, manage, supervise and organize education & training centres, teaching courses for astrology and other occult sciences.
  5. To print or publish books, magazines, periodicals, journals and other education related technical materials.
  6. To propagate and work for the cause of Astrology, Palmistry, Numerology, Vastu, and various other related subjects.
  7. To hold seminars, conferences, workshops, exhibitions and public meetings.
  8. To honour and award the knowledgeable in the field of astrology, astronomy and occultism.
  9. To develop ability in extracurricular activities, and participate at regional, national or international level along with curricular activities.
  10. To represent the interests of professional astrologers / astronomers to both the public and the media.
  11. To protect the public from professional astrological malpractice and offer the public a safe, fair and reliable service.
  12. To promote and extend the awareness of, interest in, and enjoyment of Astronomy within a friendly and stimulating Environment, hosting Educational, Practical and Social Activities in the local area, accessible to all ages and level of knowledge.
  13. The Society seeks to achieve its aims through a varied programme of Meetings, Activities and Events, including Talks, Exhibitions, Observing Sessions open to the Public and Social Events. Also to contribute worthwhile Observational Data to National and International Astronomical Organisations.
